“The Roshe runners are made to be worn with or without socks, which was a definite plus on my pros/cons account!”
Oh boy, I got what I was looking for the first time I tried the Roshe Runners on. As I was walking out of the store, they had replaced the kicks I came in with. Without socks even. The Roshe runners are made to be worn with or without socks, which was a definite plus on my pros/cons account! They were meant to be the cheap alternative, sparse in materials and only composed of what is really necessary in a sneaker. Yet, they feel like top-shelf quality and hold a comfort of a way more expensive level.
However, to call them runners is perhaps an over-statement, I would personally not have them as joggers, never mind for performance sports. Im not saying they could not be used for it, its just that they are so much more of a chilled out, comfy-casual shoe. The casual mainstream market is now more than ever, a big playground for the evolution of sneakers like the Roshe Runners.
